Abraham Pathak, M.D., F.A.C.S
Dr. Abraham Pathak is a native of Texas, who trained in top institutions around the country before settling in New York City.
He received his Medical Degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Then commenced his extensive surgical training at the Harvard Medical School affiliated General Surgery Residency at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident in 2015-2016. Upon completion of his general surgery training he was accepted into the UT Southwestern Plastic Surgery training program in Dallas, the nation’s top-ranked plastic surgery residency. During this intensive three-year residency spent learning under many of the world’s leading experts he acquired a robust experience in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the face, body and breasts.
He then pursued advanced technical training at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, the oldest and most prestigious Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship in the country. The distinct privilege of having trained with many of the field’s foremost experts and educators has instilled in him a passion for surgical education. He is dedicated to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows about plastic surgery, in particular the intricacies of aesthetic surgery. Dr. Pathak also serves as a reviewer for multiple plastic surgery journals on a wide range of aesthetic topics and has been involved in various regional and national meetings, as well publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr Pathak is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
He specializes in aesthetic procedures of the face, breast, and body, including non-invasive procedures such as injectables, lasers, and peels. He has a special interest in facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and rhinoplasty (nose) surgery.
He is devoted to drawing from his profound background and training to offer compassionate patient-specific care to the diverse patient population of the New York/New Jersey area. In addition to English, he speaks Spanish and Italian.
Dr. Pathak currently lives in Manhattan with his wife, a Cardiologist specializing in cardiac imaging, and their newborn son. In his downtime, he enjoys running, traveling, and exploring the NYC food scene.
